On Monday, Tunisian President Kais Saied sent a letter to Prime Minister Hicham Machichi, regarding the legal aspects of the ministerial modification, and ignoring some provisions of the constitution.
The book, written in Said’s handwriting, included a reminder of a number of principles relating to the necessity for the political authority in Tunisia to express the true will of the people.
Saeed emphasized that an oath is not measured by the measures of formal or substantive measures, but rather by adherence to what is stated in the text of the oath and the effects that will result from it, not only in worldly life, but when the one who has performed it stands in the hands of the fairest of the just.
