He continued, “There is no spread of Russian soldiers in the village, but it is surrounded by them, and a few days ago, soldiers came and counted the number of children there. The parents are afraid that their children will be transferred to Russia, and are begging for help to get out quickly before that happens.”

isolated from the world
With great difficulty, the residents of the village can communicate with the outside world, if they are lucky to catch the network signal, because it is very weak.
Village daughter Oleksandra Omelchuk tried several times to contact Al Jazeera.net; Then she found a way to talk about her suffering in the “SMS” service, so she wrote, “I live in a relative’s house with my daughter, my younger sister and her daughter. We were bombed, the school and the kindergarten in the village were destroyed. All the shops are closed, and food is running out.”
“The electricity and gas supply were cut off, so the heating stopped. We collect drinking water for the population using diesel pumps, but it will run out in a couple of days. We are begging everyone who can help to get us through safe corridors.”
According to Omelchuk’s letter, the people notice from time to time Russian military movements in the vicinity of the village. “We are in constant danger, including occasional exchanges of fire,” Omelchuk said.
