Supporters of the “Popular Mobilization” in Karbala, Iraq, on Tuesday, December 29, attended a Ramzi funeral, commemorating the first anniversary of the killing of the Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, and the leader of the “crowd” Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.
“The first memory of the martyrdom of the leaders, the leaders of the victory, today comes from the holy land of Karbala, the land of martyrdom,” said the director of the “al-Nujaba” movement, the cleric, Majid al-Kaabi.
The engineer and the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Soleimani, were assassinated by US forces in Iraq about a year ago, near Baghdad airport. The incident was carried out on January 3, due to allegations that Soleimani was the mastermind of Iranian-allied militia attacks on US forces in the Middle East.
