The Russian authorities allowed students from a group of foreign countries, including 3 Arab ones, to return to Russia in order to continue their studies.
The Federal Authority for Monitoring in the Field of Consumer Rights and Human Welfare said in a statement issued on Saturday that the government had issued a permit for foreign students to return to Russia to continue studying in accordance with the rules set by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The authority stressed that this permission applies to citizens of countries in which epidemiological conditions are considered safe, according to the estimates of the Russian health authorities.
The list of these countries includes Egypt, Qatar, the Emirates, Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Greece, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, the Republic of Maldives, Seychelles Root, Serbia, Singapore, Tanzania, Turkey, Finland, Switzerland, Ethiopia, South Korea, South Ossetia and Japan.
