The National Electoral Institute (INE) reported that the Citizen Attention Modules (MAC) will suspend their activities from December 26 until January 2, 2023, so services will resume on Tuesday, January 3 at the established times.
He specified that in Coahuila and the State of Mexico, entities with an electoral process, the service will only be suspended on January 2.
The INE highlighted that the appointment system will not allow citizens to schedule procedures in the aforementioned holiday period, so citizens will not be able to carry out any procedure in the MAC on the indicated days.
“The electoral authority calls on citizens to come to their scheduled appointment, on the day and time they requested, in order to use the full capacity of the service available in the Citizen Service Modules,” said the electoral body.
In the nearly 900 INE modules, Mexicans over the age of 18 can carry out procedures such as obtaining a voter card, registering in the Electoral Rollupdate the address, correct errors in the name of the person, replace the voting card in case of theft or loss, in addition to renewing the credentials that will lose their validity.
