A group of mates have gone viral for engineering an ‘Australian spa’ by placing a boat motor into a blow up swimming pool.
A video posted on online shows three men and a woman sitting in the pool while the roaring motor on the back of the vessel, parked next to the inflatable’s edge, blasts currents into the water.
Music can be heard blaring in the background while the group drink and laugh as waves splash over them.

Many who saw the video shared on social media praised the invention, with some saying they would be using the hack while escaping the summer heat.
‘That’s gold!’ one person commented.
Another added: ‘That’s us sorted for summer!’
‘Game changer,’ a third said.
But others held safety concerns.
‘Recipe for disaster?’ One person wrote.
‘How many toes were lost that afternoon?’ someone else said.
Boat motors can be hazardous if proper precautions are not taken while they are in use.
Last year, the Roads and Maritime Service issued a warning for swimmers to be weary of the dangers of boat propellers.
‘Boating and swimming near boats can be dangerous. Boat propellers can too easily be ignored because they are ‘out of sight and out of mind’,’ Roads and Maritime Services acting executive director Mark Hutchings said.
‘A strike from a propeller spinning at around 3200rpm can cause serious injury or even death.’
