Inter Milan missed the opportunity to lead the Italian football league, and coach Antonio Conte was sent off in a 0-0 draw, hosted by Udinese, on Saturday, in the 19th stage of the “Calcio”.
Inter traveled to face its host Udinese in high spirits, after winning the last round 2-0 in a summit match against Juventus, but did not take advantage of the retreat of the landowner, who became the first team to keep a clean sheet against “Nerazzurri” in the league this season.
The 90th minute of the match witnessed Conte’s objection to the referee’s decisions, Fabio Maresca, to decide the latter to display a yellow card in his face, before the Italian coach uttered other words, prompting the referee to give him a red card.
Inter remained second in the “Calcio” table, with 41 points, two points behind Milan, who lost 3-0 to Atlanta.
