Investment fund assets grew 2.02% in November

The assets of the investment funds in Mexico they were located at the end of November 2022 at 2.875 billion pesos, which represented an annual growth of 2.02 percent.

According to data from the Mexican Association of Stock Market Institutions (AMIB), in monthly comparison, assets had a decrease of -0.41% in November in relation to October. It should be noted that it is precisely in October when assets reached their all-time high, standing at 2,887 trillion pesos.

Operators

Regarding the number of operators in the market, they remain at 30, despite the fact that this year the global economy has been characterized by its instability. The Russian invasion of Ukraine, the energy crisis, high inflation and the increase in interest rates by central banks are the phenomena that have impacted the world economy and will continue to mark the 2023 agenda.

It should be noted that in November the number of investment funds available to investors grew, standing at 628. The operator with the highest volume continues to be BBVA with 54 funds and with an amount of assets of 632,003,421 million pesos; Second place is occupied by BlackRock with 48 funds that have 547,796,967 million pesos in assets; and third place is for SAM with 61 investment funds totaling 301,216,318 million pesos in assets.
