Invoice Treacher, renowned for playing Arthur Fowler in EastEnders, has died aged 92, his family said.

In a statement, his household unveiled the retired actor’s wellbeing ‘had been declining for some time’.

‘Bill was a fantastic actor and a superb partner and father, plus a extremely fine human remaining,’ they said. ‘He will be massively skipped.’ 

Mr Treacher, a father-of-two, died on Saturday night.
