The Iranian ambassador to Sanaa, Hassan Erlo, considered that the decision of the US President, Joe Biden, to stop supporting the Arab coalition campaign in Yemen was caused by the US efforts to impose a direct military presence there.
In a tweet he posted on Friday evening on his Twitter account, Earlo said: “America is the greatest devil, and we are not optimistic about the American speech. Certainly, the new administration has a policy that is different from its predecessors, which is to impose a direct political and military presence in Yemen, as happened in both Iraq and Syria.” .
“We must count on God and the Yemeni people, who have gained legendary resistance and steadfastness and will continue until victory,” added Earlo.
America is the Great Satan, and we are not optimistic about the American speech, and certainly the new administration has a different policy from its predecessors, which is to impose a direct political and military presence in Yemen, as happened in both Iraq and Syria, we must rely on God and the Yemeni people who have gained legendary resistance and steadfastness and will continue until victory

The new US president also affirmed that his country would intensify its efforts to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Yemeni crisis.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia has led the Arab coalition, which has been waging intensive military operations in Yemen in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government loyal to the President, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, which is fighting the Houthi forces supported by Iran.
The United Nations estimates that Yemen, on which the coalition imposed a sea, land and air embargo, is suffering from the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
