Amouei stressed that “Saudi Arabia’s demands that it be part of the nuclear agreement are not addressed, and there is a lot of ambiguity in the Saudi nuclear program,” noting that “Iran will not give Saudi Arabia any role in the nuclear agreement.”
The Iranian parliamentarian also indicated that “Tehran is ready for dialogue with Riyadh on contentious issues, including the purchase of weapons and the war in Yemen.”
On the European level, Abul-Fadl Amouei pointed out that “Iran will not forget the negative role that France played in the 2015 negotiations,” stressing that “now it is repeating the same role.”
Amoumi said, “France’s claims that Tehran should return to the nuclear agreement first are illogical,” adding that “the statements of the French President, Emmanuel Macron, are useless and will not contribute to a return to the nuclear agreement.”
