Iran's national team is the fourth qualifier to the quarter-finals of the Asian Nations Cup sports

Mehdi Qaidi scored a goal in the first half that led Iran to win 1-0 over Hong Kong on Friday and qualify for the 16-final of the Asian Football Cup held in Qatar.

Qaidi scored the winning goal for the Iranian team in the 24th minute, giving his country 3 valuable points and taking the team to the eighth final of the Asian Championship, which Iran won the title 3 times.
