The Security Media Cell in Iraq announced that the joint investigation committee in charge of investigating the heinous crime that took place in the village of Albu Dur in Salah al-Din Governorate has completed the investigation.
And it indicated in a statement, that “the investigative committee found that the perpetrators of the crime were elements of the terrorist ISIS who infiltrated the village on foot, wearing military uniforms under the pretext of searching the homes of the murdered on the outskirts of the village, and they carried out their crime against unarmed innocent people who are known for their national positions.”
She added, “The security forces identified the person responsible for the crime, who is a former resident of the village, where the families expelled him from their village in order to reject his terrorist acts, and he came to avenge these defenseless innocent people.”
The crime resulted in the killing of 6 members of one family, a member of the Salah al-Din police, and a lawyer.
The statement concluded: “The security forces in Salah al-Din pledged to arrest the criminal terrorist killers and bring them to justice to obtain their fair punishment and to completely eliminate ISIS and its offspring.”
