The resistance in Gaza and the Zionist occupation entered into a temporary truce for several days, according to the mediation of international mediators: Qatar, Egypt, and America, which ruled the handover of a number of prisoners from both sides, and other conditions, the details of which were mentioned, regarding relief and life aid.
Such agreements, or truces, are debated by various parties, between supporters and opponents, between those who see them as a victory for the resistance, and those who try to reduce the value of this victory, and want to make the view religious and jurisprudential, in terms of comparison between the immediate or limited apparent gains. Compared to what happened in a month and a half, with this amount of destruction and devastation at the level of people and quarantine.
Some psychologically defeated or shaken members of the media – who had no job or job other than to flog the resistance throughout the past period, and before the start of the truce – are trying to prepare people to feel that this is an indescribable defeat for the resistance.
The jurists and scholars discussed the issue of the truce, and the Sharia’s position on it, whether it was a short truce or a long truce, even if it was with the occupier who usurped the land, as long as it would not be a permanent truce that would recognize him as the owner of the occupied land or sanctities. The Holy Qur’an and the purified biography of the Prophet were presented to us. An example of this truce concluded with the enemy.
We saw the indications that this truce carried of the victory of the resistance, in the release of prisoners from prisons, who had no hope of ever getting out, except with this truce and the exchange of prisoners, and we saw the celebration of the Palestinian prisoners after the exit.
The Qur’an calls the truce a victory
When the Holy Qur’an spoke about the truce that the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – established with the infidels of Quraysh, he called it: Al-Fath, and God Almighty said: (Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory), and God called the Surah: Surat Al-Fath; Although she was talking about the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, which was a temporary truce between the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – and the polytheists.
The meaning of the truce being a victory was lost on some of the Companions, and they were astonished when the noble verse was revealed: (Indeed, We have granted you a clear conquest). Among those asking about this was Omar bin Al-Khattab. The books of the Sunnah narrated what the Companions mentioned, when they said: We witnessed Al-Hudaybiyyah with The Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – and when we left it, people were drying the camels, and some of the people said to each other: What is it for the people? They said: It was revealed to the Messenger of God. He said: So we went out walking with the people until we found the Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – standing at Kara’ al-Ghamim. When some of the people he wanted gathered to him, he recited to them: (Indeed, we have given you a clear victory) Al-Fath: 1, A man from his companions said: O Messenger of God, should I open it? He said: “By the One in whose hand is my soul, it is Fatah.”
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim summarized how this truce was a victory, saying: (Glory be to Him made clear the wisdom of what they hated in the year of Hudaybiyyah, in that the polytheists repelled them, until they returned and did not perform Umrah, and He made clear to them that what they wanted would happen after this, so it happened in the coming year, and God Almighty said: (So He knew what You did not know, but besides that He created a conquest soon), and it is the treaty of Al-Hudaybiyyah, and it is the first conquest mentioned in his saying: (Indeed, We have opened for you a clear conquest).
Because of him, the benefits of religion and the world, victory, the emergence of Islam, and the invalidation of disbelief were achieved, which they had not hoped for before. The transgression, hostility, and stubbornness of the polytheists became apparent to everyone, and the private and public knew that Muhammad and his companions were the guardians of truth and guidance, and that their enemies had nothing in their hands except aggression and stubbornness.
Some signs of victory in the Gaza truce
What we can see in the resistance’s truce in Gaza with the enemy is some indications of imminent victory, and we do not say complete or final victory. This is a longed-for hope, but it is too early to confirm or speculate about it now, even if some of its signs have appeared, and several signs of it appear on the horizon:
The truce is an opportunity to catch our breath, regroup, and rehabilitate souls and people due to past war crimes and the difficulties that will come. However, it gives those who have the right this freedom of preparation, arranging papers, sharpening resolve, and healing the material and moral wounds of the people of Gaza.
We have seen the indications that this truce carries of the victory of the resistance, in the release of prisoners from prisons, who had no hope of ever getting out, except with this truce and the exchange of prisoners, and we saw celebration from the Palestinian prisoners after the exit, and from their families, despite what the occupation tried to prevent this, and in On the other hand, we did not find this joy in the entity’s media about the return of its prisoners. There was no celebration, no media appearances, and no public interviews, and the pictures between the two teams carried the truest and strongest indications of victory and steadfastness.
What the connotations of the pictures of the prisoners who returned to the occupation carried was a moral victory for the resistance, and even a practical and declared response to all the lies that the entity’s media and the biased and deliberately false Western media spread against the resistance, such as the allegation of killing children and raping women. Let us see the pictures of children deposited. The resistance men have a smile that cannot lie, as well as those expressed by the female prisoners, which are signs of farewell, which do not lie in their connotations, and the other important connotations in these and other scenes are not hidden, and they require a separate discussion.
Duty of caution
As for the caution required in this truce, it is to be careful of the enemy that the Palestinians face, as it is an enemy that has no creativity, and everyone noticed that he announces with the truce that he will resume demolition, killing, and war immediately after it. Perhaps these are the expressions of a broken person, but they are the expressions of an enemy who practiced wars, all of which were not characterized by Humanly or ethically, what he does is not strange to him, and he will not stop doing it.
Caution is required not only from the resistance, but from its masses as well. A truce is a rest for a warrior, not inactivity followed by coldness, but rather followed by diligent activity. If the resistance has exerted its effort and done what it is capable of, then the masses have a long way to work as well, whether on the level of Public and media communication, or in the field of boycott, and every field in which you have work.
