According to a report from Fichajes, Arsenal has withdrawn its long-standing interest in signing Real Madrid’s Turkish star, Arda Güler.
The Premier League club reportedly made an inquiry for the talented midfielder during the summer transfer window, but Real Madrid’s management refused to authorize his departure. Güler was allegedly viewed as a potential successor to Martin Ødegaard at the London club.
Having found a suitable environment at Real Madrid, Güler is said to be keen on continuing his development under manager Xabi Alonso, where he has become a key player. His age, technical quality, and potential for growth have established him as a secure investment for the club’s future.
In the 2025/26 season, the 20-year-old has made seven appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
