This will challenge Israel’s military and civilian defense capabilities, Gordin said during his participation in a conference in Jerusalem on Monday, but added: “Enemies on the various fronts must know that if necessary, we will employ a military force that has never been seen before.”
He continued, “They know that they cannot defeat us on the battlefield, so they are trying to transfer the war to a second front, which is our homes and our cities,” noting that “the enemies of Israel should know that the Israeli home front is able to withstand, and it has proven this in the past.”
Israel believes that Hezbollah today possesses an arsenal of about 150,000 projectile missiles, some of which are distinguished by the ability to hit anywhere inside the Jewish state.
