Israeli media said that the Minister of Defense Yoav Galant He left the war cabinet meeting due to his office director being prevented from attending, amid increasing tension within the council.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (official) and the private Channel 12 added that tensions within the military cabinet are increasing, as Gallant left the ministerial discussion, yesterday evening, Saturday, due to the lack of approval for his office director to remain.
In the same context, the private Channel 13 reported that the Minister of Defense called on the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Not to “disrupt” his work within the government.
During recent months, the Israeli media has repeatedly touched on ongoing disagreements between Gallant and Netanyahu, related to how to manage the war on the Gaza Strip, and the aftermath of the war, in addition to Netanyahu’s repeated attempts to hold the army responsible for the war on the Gaza Strip.
