The national leader of the PRD, Jesús Zambrano, said that it is the duty of every citizen to defend the National Electoral Institute (INE) from the government and Morena’s attempt to achieve a reform that allows them to have control of the elections.

“The current moment is an obligation and a democratic duty of the entire society, of all the people who want democracy to exist in Mexico and have a civilized, daily democracy that allows us as a society to grow and live in peace, not in a situation of polarization, that means defending the autonomous and independent electoral referee, the impartial electoral referee that is the INE.

“That is why we must defend the INE, because otherwise what is going to be done is to return to the control of the elections by the government of the Republic as it was done before, or even worse, because now we are on the road to a dictatorship. that wants to be installed in our country and we must not allow it.
