“Lastamba” newspaper reported that Berlusconi said in a phone call to Marco Maroni, owner of “Medinea”, one of the fishing boats that returned with 18 fishermen who had been held in Libya for more than 100 days: “It was Putin in his phone calls with Haftar who released them, and this is the truth of what happened. “.
The newspaper pointed out that the Italian politician spoke during this phone call with an open loudspeaker, and said in this regard: “We must not say that, lest it be said that he supports Haftar, which he does not want.”
