The Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 232 deaths and 13,452 new cases of Coronavirus, in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry stated in its daily report that the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country reached 95,718, while the total number of infections reached 2809,246.
She pointed out that the number of people recovering from infection with the virus reached 2324633.
The head of the Italian Medicines Agency Aifa Giorgio Balloh said on February 16, that “if the virus is confined within the next two to three months, we will probably get out of the scope of its threat.”
He added that we must show faith and focus on vaccination and patience for a few more weeks, before easing restrictions and reopening measures.
