The Italian Ministry of Health announced, on Sunday, that a patient was infected with the new strain of Corona that appeared in Britain.
The ministry said, “The injured person has returned from Britain during the past few days on a flight that landed at Fiumicino Airport in the capital, Rome, and is now subject to health isolation.”
And European countries neighboring Britain began closing their border ports to travelers from the United Kingdom on Sunday night, amid concern about the new fast-spreading strain that caused a sharp rise in cases of coronavirus there.
