Izzi Móvil, the virtual cellular telephony arm of the fixed internet and pay TV service provider, izzi, will use the AT&T network, which will allow it to increase its coverage and compatibility with mobile devices.
“With the strengthening of izzi mobile, izzi continues to consolidate itself as the best connectivity option and now, in alliance with AT&T Mexico, it will provide greater support and coverage at competitive prices and with mobile telephony packages that can be adapted to the needs and economy of its customers, guaranteeing an optimal connection and the best experience,” the company reported in a statement.
Izzi announced the launch of mobile izzi in June 2020 and since then it has been using the network of Altán Redes, a wholesale operator that entered commercial bankruptcy in November 2021 and only left the process this week, through a restructuring of liabilities. By working with AT&T, izzi mobile follows in the footsteps of other companies that also have virtual mobile operators, such as Megacable and Sky, which this year also signed agreements.
