Our country has a new supply of electric vehicles. A subcompact that has 2 versions, a youthful style, a more than correct autonomy for driving in the city and the support of the brand that sells the most electric cars in Mexico.
Nothing steamed
JAC is a Chinese brand that belongs to the Giant Motors Latin America group. JAC sells 6 out of 10 electric cars in our market. For this reason, the new E 10X is not a light bet, on the contrary, since it also has the backing of a firm with a network of 42 JAC Stores. It has a total length of 3,650 millimeters by 1,670 millimeters wide and 1,495 millimeters high. The wheelbase is 2,390 millimeters.
With these figures you can get the idea that it is an urban option, with space available to carry what you need for a day at work or at school. The trunk, of course, has a contained volume with 140 liters that grow to 400 liters if the second row is folded. The resolution of the exterior is very pleasing to the eye due to elements such as the two-tone bodywork, the aluminum wheels in combination with black details, the central fascia that houses a very modern lower grille as well as the gray frame.
At the rear, the same trim or trim is kept for the bumper as it happens in the front, the rectangular lights give it a certain air of sophistication while the medallion has a sufficient surface to allow good visibility.
Youth
For the interior, two-tone synthetic leather is used, rigid plastics but thanks to the combination of tones they are a magnet for the eyes, as well as very contemporary shapes in the air conditioning outlets or in the design of the central screen. The ignition is by button, the central monitor is 10.25 “while the digital cluster is 6.2”.
Pure electricity
It is powered by an electric generator mounted on the front axle and powered by a 30.2 kWh capacity lithium ion battery. It can be recharged in 25 minutes from 30 to 80 percent.
The regenerative braking system offers additional recharge in addition to its level of impact on driving can be modulated. Without disclosing which homologation cycle it belongs to, JAC mentions a range of up to 380 kilometers.
