(CNN) — Jada Pinkett Smith is back with Season 5 of “Red Table Talk.”
The Facebook series made a brief reference to her husband Will Smith’s slap in the face of Chris Rock at the Oscars in its last episode, but only in the show’s headlines. It was not discussed during the episode.
“Considering everything that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focused on deep healing,” read a headline at the beginning of the episode. “Some of our healing discoveries will be shared around the table when the time comes. Until then, the table will continue to offer powerful, inspiring and healing testimonials like that of our incredibly impressive first guest.”

After the headlines were shown, the show continued with a pre-recorded segment that was filmed before the Oscars on March 27. Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield Norris spoke with guest Janelle Monáe.
During the Oscars, Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock onstage after a joke Rock made about Jada Pinkett Smith, comparing her short hair to Demi Moore’s character in the movie “GI Jane.”
Smith later won the Oscar for leading actor for his performance in “King Richard.”
He then resigned from the Academy.
