Jadon Sancho left out of Borussia Dortmund’s squad AGAIN ahead of Freiburg clash due to illness with Manchester United still hoping to seal deal ahead of deadline day
Jadon Sancho has once again been left out entirely from Borussia Dortmund‘s squad ahead of their clash with Freiburg due to illness, amid continued interest from Manchester United.
The 20-year-old forward has remained United’s primary target this summer, but the club have so far failed to wrap up negotiations with Dortmund remaining steadfast over their £108million valuation.
Sancho was also missing from Dortmund’s Super Cup defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday with a ‘respiratory infection’ cited as the reason behind his absence.

The club confirmed on Saturday afternoon that it is the same issue which has ruled Sancho out from their fixture.
Roman Burki, Dortmund’s first-choice goalkeeper, has also missed out with a similar infection – although the club have confirmed both players have tested negative for coronavirus.
Having missed two games in quick succession, speculation has been rife over United making a last-ditch attempt to land Sancho with just two days remaining until the window slams shut.
Sportsmail reported on Friday that Sancho does not plan to push for a move to Old Trafford with both clubs remaining at an impasse.
United are understood to have turned their interest into a concrete offer this week. The package was worth a guaranteed £73m with further add-ons potentially taking the deal up to £91m.
The overall valuation fell well short of Dortmund’s asking price, however, with United believing the price tag is too high due to the financial fallout stemming from the pandemic.
