Horrifying video shows the moment a fleet of new Jaguar SUVs erupted into flames on the side of the M1 earlier this week.
The footage shows at least four 2023 I-PACE electric vehicles on a car transporter were damaged after being engulfed by a raging inferno.
It is unclear how the SUVs – which sell for more than £66,000 each – caught on fire.
However, the blaze caused traffic delays in both directions for several hours as drivers tried to make their way through Nottingham.

The fire broke out on the southbound carriageway between junctions 26 and 27 around 1.40pm on Monday, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
Large smoke plumed as traffic came to a standstill, with some Twitter users reporting it took several hours to reach their intended destinations.
One motorist said it took over two hours to get home from Nottingham, despite the route typically on taking 45 minutes. Another claimed it took over eight hours to get to Burton.
Fire crews reported there were at least seven SUVs in the car transporter. It is unclear how many – if any – survived the blaze.
By 8pm officials had recovered all the vehicles from the transporter and a convoy removed them from the road.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
