Jaguars Elite 14U Powers into NFL Flag Quarterfinals

Brysen Wright delivered a standout performance Friday, leading the Jaguars Elite 14U team into the quarterfinals of the NFL Flag Championship at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

The rising Mandarin High School sophomore was instrumental in a 20-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins-affiliated Ryan Football, scoring 15 of his team’s points with two touchdown catches and three one-point conversions. The win secures a quarterfinal matchup for the Jaguars against the Baltimore Ravens-sponsored Old Skewl on Saturday. The game will be televised on NFL Network and streamed on ESPN+ and NFL+.

A victory would advance the team to a Sunday semifinal against the winner of the HFFL Empire (Raiders) and RFP (Bills) game. The championship final is scheduled for later that afternoon.

Overall, the nine First Coast teams representing the Jaguars have compiled an impressive 24-6 record through Friday. The JAX Police Athletic League Storm 12U Rec team is scheduled to begin play on Saturday.
