Right now the Houston Rockets are, in their own right, the worst team in the league. Before defeating the Bulls in their last game, the team was on track to break personal records for consecutive losses, of which they accumulated fifteen. The horrendous start has raised doubts about Stephen Silas’ continuation on the bench and just watching Jalen Green develop was appealing in a completely adrift team. But not even that anymore, because the number two of the last draft suffers a muscle injury in the thigh area that will have him out for a few games.
The Rockets have not specified a recovery time for the player’s condition, which they will examine in seven days to clear up any doubts. So far, Green’s season has been on and off, leaving great sparkles despite his erratic tendencies and poor prowess in out-of-scoring sections. In 18 games the rookie averages 14 points and 2.3 assists in 30 minutes of play per night, although his percentages border on catastrophe.
In the next week the team will play four games, which is the minimum number of games in which Green will be absent.
