(CNN) –– Jamie Foxx’s daughter shared in an Instagram post on Friday that the actor was “out of the hospital weeks ago” and is “on the mend”.
Foxx was hospitalized on April 11 in Atlanta, Georgia, after he suffered a “medical complication,” according to his daughter, Corinne Foxx. No further information was released about the incident.
On Friday, the daughter of Foxx, with whom the actor hosts the game show “Beat Shazam,” posted a “family update” on an Instagram Story, after various media outlets reported that friends of the star were asking prayers for his recovery.
“It’s sad to see the media lose control,” wrote Corinne Foxx. “My dad got out of the hospital weeks ago, and he’s on the mend. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We also have an exciting job announcement next week!” she added.
