Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga announced today, Monday, that the campaign to encourage domestic tourism “go to travel” is completely suspended at the end of this month, due to an unprecedented increase in the number of new cases of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The Japanese Broadcasting Corporation “NHK” stated that the campaign was launched months ago with the support of the Japanese government to support domestic tourism.
It is reported that Suga announced last month the partial suspension of the campaign, after recording a record high number of HIV infections in the country.
