Restricted free agent Jarred Vanderbilt has made a new commitment to continue his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves for three years and $ 13.8 million, reported journalist Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN.
According to sources close to the situation, the first two campaigns will be fully guaranteed for the player; however, the franchise reserves an option for the third and final.
Vandervilt, 22, came to the Timberwolves on February 5, 2020 from the Denver Nuggets. In 64 games last year (30 as a starter) he had the best averages of his NBA career with 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 17.8 minutes per game.
