While on stage for her world tour, the singer and actor’s tear-off skirt unexpectedly detached, leaving her briefly in her stage underwear. Rather than being flustered, Lopez laughed off the incident, joking with her dancers and announcing to the crowd, “I’m here in my underwear!”
The mishap occurred as her band was singing “Happy Birthday” to celebrate her 55th birthday from the previous day. After a dancer was unable to reattach the skirt, Lopez tossed the garment into the audience and seamlessly continued with the show.
The moment drew a wave of support from fans online, who commended her poise. “She’s adorable and handled it like the pro that she is,” one fan account wrote on Instagram. Another user commented, “Life is too short, love how she and her staff and the crowd handled it.”
Lopez is currently on her “Up All Night” tour, performing across Asia and Europe with a setlist that includes major hits like “On the Floor,” “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” and “Let’s Get Loud.” The tour is set to conclude on August 12 in Sardinia, Italy.
Earlier this month at a stop in Barcelona, the performer quipped about her personal life after spotting a fan’s sign that read, “J Lo, Marry Me?” In response, Lopez joked, “I think I’m done with that. I’ve tried that a few times.”
Lopez was previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony. She married actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck in 2022 after the pair rekindled a romance that had ended an earlier engagement in 2004. In 2024, it was announced the couple had separated.
