Vice President Harris, 56, looked sleek in a calf-length burgundy coat and a matching dress by American designer Prabal Gurung, which she paired with sheer black tights and heels. Harris topped off the look with a black mask and a black pearl necklace.
The attorney’s signature pearls represent her Howard University sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA), the first African American Greek-letter sorority.

President Biden’s granddaughters are already poised to become the White House fashionistas to watch following their show-stopping appearance at the inauguration yesterday.
Sisters Naomi, 27, Finnegan, 20, Maisy Biden, 19, and their cousin Natalie have been hailed ‘style icons’ by industry insiders and social media users thanks to their glamorous ensembles.
The young women were the picture of elegance in chic coats as they joined their family to support their ‘pop’ as he was sworn in, before slipping into stylish looks for the evening festivities.
Despite their privileged upbringing, the Biden granddaughters are no strangers to struggle and loss. Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy have all watched their father Hunter face high-profile scandals, including his drug use, while Natalie and young Hunter lost their father Beau to brain cancer in 2015.
