Jimmy Butler gave the scare of the night at the Chase Center when he had to leave the game in the third quarter with an injury to his right ankle, a condition of which the extent of which is unknown for now, as his joint will be re-examined in the upcoming.
The guard was injured when he went to place his right foot to perform a movement, at which point he appeared to lose his balance. He fell to the ground with the ball in his hands while gesturing in pain. Miami called for a time out and the guard had to be helped up as he was unable to put weight on his ankle. Erik Spoelstra assures that the player says he is fine, but that everything will depend on how he evolves.
If you talk to Jimmy right now, he says he’s fine. We will have to evaluate him and see how he feels in the coming days », explains the head coach of the Florida franchise.
Right ankle problems have been a constant this season for Butler. In November he missed three games with a sprain and sprained it again on November 28, missing up to four games. Now he suffers a new mishap that we do not know if he will have it some nights away from the parquet.
So far this season the Miami star has been out in up to 15 games. Despite this, the Heat have maintained a good line to be at this time fourth in the Eastern Conference at 23-15.
