British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Sunday that he intends to continue in office after Brexit.
When asked, during an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), whether he intended to continue in his position, he answered, “Yes.”
And on the possibility of a new vote on the independence of Scotland, Johnson said that referendums should not be held more than once a generation.
“The only point I want to make is that the referendums … by virtue of my first-hand experience in this country, are not a particularly pleasant event,” he added.
“They (referendums) cannot unify the general mood of the country and should only take place once a generation,” he said.
