The British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab had expressed the UK’s concern about the publication of a new video in which Princess Latifa talks about her detention on the orders of her father.
“In light of what we have seen, I think people on a human level want to see that she is alive and well, of course,” Raab confirmed in an interview with Sky News channel today.
He described the new video as “sad footage related to a very complex issue,” expressing his confidence that the correct approach to this file is to closely follow its developments in conjunction with the investigation of the case by the United Nations.
Princess Latifa, 35, said in a new video that she was still being held hostage in a villa since her arrest while trying to flee the country in 2018.
