JoJo Siwa has confirmed that she and her Australian girlfriend Kath Ebbs met through their mutual friend, Aussie rocker G Flip.
JoJo and Kath were spotted out on dates together in November and the happy couple later went Instagram-official in late January.
In a chat on The Project on Tuesday night, the out US singer opened up about her relationship with the Australian podcaster, actor and writer.
“We have this joke that anytime somebody asks [how we met], we just deadpan, ‘G-Flip,’” JoJo said.
“Flipo actually introduced us. I’ve been friends with Flip. Kath has been friends with Flip.
“Then randomly, they both were in LA at the same time. [I] was hanging out with Flip and they were like, can my friend Kath come? I was like, yeah, sure.
JoJo joked, “I should have said no – love you, babe – because now I’m head over heels in the best way possible.
“Ever since then, we’ve been good friends. Slowly but surely, I developed a massive crush.
“I always said I wanted to move to Australia one day. Now I have a sweet, sweet Australian girlfriend.”
JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs celebrated Valentine’s Day together in Australia last week. JoJo told The Project she’s spent the entire month here.
“I do see a lot of Aussie in my future. I feel like there’s going to be a lot of back and forth,” she said.
“I’d love for my little babies to have an Australian accent so they can go to school here happily.”

JoJo Siwa came out in 2021. She explained that for her girlfriends, there’s an “adjusting period” as they experience her “big and scary” global fame.
“Even from a very young age, my mum told me, she always said, ‘You don’t need to share everything. The world doesn’t need to know it all.’ I would always be like, I want them to,” JoJo told The Project.
“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve definitely learned that now I’m including somebody else’s life in my public life. That’s a conversation that I had very early on with Kath as well.
“I do have, we call it a big and scary life. It does take a second and it is an adjusting period.
“Believe it or not, there are some things I do keep a secret. I know it doesn’t seem like it, but I do have a little bit of a private life.”
Last week, JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs went to the Australian premiere of Hadestown at the Theatre Royal in Sydney on Friday night.
Kath and JoJo posted to social media a series of images and clips from the couple’s hotel room at the QT skyscraper in Sydney.
Kath decked out the hotel suite with a red and rainbow balloon and a bouquet of roses, while JoJo wooed her girlfriend with an Argentinian tango.
