In an interview with the “60 Minutes” program on Jordanian TV, on Friday, Muhaidat added that the Foundation will complete the study of the Russian vaccine file after providing it with the technical deficiencies.
He pointed out that intensive efforts are made by the committees working on these files to give them emergency leave within 15 days, and if there are deficiencies, the study will be suspended until it is completed by the company requesting the license.
The Jordanian official stated that some files took 45 days to be cleared, as the committee was unable to complete the study due to deficiencies.
He stressed that Jordan is free of forged vaccines, explaining that the source from which it receives it is clear, and the party that receives these vaccines is the Jordanian Ministry of Health.
He added that the institution’s role does not end with granting the license, but rather goes beyond monitoring side effects and monitoring vaccinations, and an electronic program has been developed so that a message is sent to each recipient of vaccines and the citizen fills it out in the event of any side effect, through a specialized department in the General Food and Drug Corporation.
