The entry at the time of the night curfew did not prevent hundreds of protesters from continuing to be in front of the hospital.
Since early morning, Sunday, the vicinity of the hospital witnessed an intense security presence.
The Jordanian Public Prosecution arrested the director of Salt Hospital, Abdul Razzaq Al-Khashman, who was ordered by the Jordanian king to resign, along with 3 of his assistants and the hospital’s supply officer for a week in a correction and rehabilitation center, and the charge of causing death jointly was charged to the detainees.
The Minister of Health, Nazir Obeidat, had resigned from his post based on a royal will, and the Minister of Interior was assigned to carry out his duties, while Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh announced that the government bears full responsibility for what happened in Salt Hospital.
Meanwhile, King Abdullah II ordered the formation of a military medical committee to take over the file of the Salt Hospital case, and he asked the committee to provide him with a report on the results of the investigation.
