The Public Security Directorate in Jordan announced that a team of rescuers in Ma’an managed to rescue two Arab people who fell into an empty water well while it was being maintained in the Shobak area.
“The team managed to reach the two people by means of ropes and ladders designated for such incidents,” said the media spokesperson for the directorate, Amer Al-Sartawi.
He added, “The rescue team worked to get the Arab citizens out of the well,” noting that “they suffer from wounds and bruises all over the body.”
In turn, the Jordanian ambulance teams worked to provide the necessary first aid to the injured and transfer them to Ma’an Governmental Hospital, confirming that their “general condition is of moderate severity.”
