- But the tweet was not taken down even as West vowed to go “dying con 3” on Jews and dined with a white nationalist.
A Twitter account representing Republicans serving on the Home Judiciary Committee on Thursday deleted a tweet praising rapper Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, citing his responses praising Adolf Hitler and Nazis for the duration of an appearance with Infowars conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
The tweet, which merely browse “Kanye. Elon. Trump.” was posted in the early several hours on October 7, soon following Fox News produced a significant-profile dialogue between Ye and host Tucker Carlson.
“We deleted the tweet simply because of Mr. West’s repulsive reviews,” a Judiciary spokesperson told Insider on Friday.

But the tweet remained up for months immediately after Ye tweeted a vow to go “demise con 3 on JEWISH People today,” footage emerged from that exact Carlson job interview in which he built bigoted statements about Jewish people today, and after Ye introduced a outstanding white nationalist to supper with previous President Donald Trump.
Questioned why the tweet had remained up, the spokesperson only re-sent the exact statement: “We deleted the tweet since of Mr. West’s repulsive comments.”

The Property Judiciary GOP Twitter account on a regular basis posts consideration-grabbing messages trolling Democrats and amplifying Republican conversing details. Democratic Rep. On Friday, President Joe Biden termed on political leaders to condemn anti-semitism.
“Silence is complicity,” the president claimed in a statement.
