Television presenter and fashion stylist Jules Sebastian has shared how you can make the ultimate Australian Christmas Day dessert: a lamington and macaroon wreath.
The 41-year-old mum-of-two said her dessert is ‘by far the prettiest thing she has ever made’, and it’s ideal for those wanting to create something showstopping but simple for their Christmas meal.
‘I merged a lamington wreath and a macaroon wreath together to create their love child,’ Jules posted on her Instagram page.
‘I literally only melted white chocolate and whipped cream so I would call this less cooking and more artwork.’
She added: ‘Either way I guarantee this will become your signature Christmas dish when you are hosting.’

To make the lamington and macaroon wreath, you’ll need to get your hands on a few colourful ingredients.
Whipped cream, melted white chocolate, strawberries, raspberries, sugar, mini meringues and mini pavlovas are all necessary.
You’ll also need some cherries, macaroons, pink and chocolate lamingtons, de-seeded pomegranate seeds and some white flowers for decorations.
‘I’m nervous about making this because it’s finicky, but I believe in it,’ Jules said in the video.
‘It’s the perfect centrepiece dessert that people can pick at if you put plates and spoons and forks on the side. All the pinks and reds look so pretty too.’

The mum-of-two, 41, dubbed the pavlova grazing board the ‘perfect dessert’ for those who are short on time and prefer to pick and choose a little bit of what they love in a pavlova.
Designed in the same way as a cheese board, the ingredients for the dessert are spread across a wooden platter for guests to make into miniature pavlovas themselves.
