Senior House Republicans selected four junior lawmakers to join the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee during the next Congress, elevating their viewpoints just in time for that panel’s work on a sweeping tax bill next year.
Reps. Rudy Yakym (R-Ind.), Max Miller (R-Ohio), Nathaniel Moran (R-Texas), and Aaron Bean (R-Fla.) won the approval Friday of House Republicans’ Steering Committee to join the panel, according to multiple sources familiar with the vote.
