PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A group of Portland kids got a big surprise from a pop superstar for a special bike ride on Sunday.
The Portland Bike Buse was started in 2022 by Coach Sam Balto, a physical education teacher for Portland Public Schools. He saw the idea for a bike bus online and decided to start it in Portland.
On Sunday, the group was joined by Justin Timberlake. The singer and his band took part in the event after Balto reached out to him on social media.
Timberlake is in town to play at the Moda Center on Monday night for the “Forget Tomorrow World” tour.
The singer said the experience was a great time and thanked Balto for the invitation, saying the bike bus brings joy to a lot of people.
