Juventus WILL buy Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid at the end of his loan spell, claims the forward’s agent as he hails his ‘great understanding’ with the Serie A giants
- Juventus will agree to sign Alvaro Morata on a permanent deal, says his agent
- The forward rejoined the Old Lady on loan from Atletico Madrid this summer
- His representative Juanma Lopez says Morata was always Juventus’ first choice
- Lopez believes the player has a ‘great understanding’ with the club’s board
Alvaro Morata will sign for Juventus on a permanent deal at the end of the season, according to his agent.
The Spanish forward re-joined the Old Lady on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer and has already looked at home in Turin, scoring nine times in 12 games for Andrea Pirlo’s side.
Morata was at for Juventus for two seasons from 2014-15 to 2015-16 and proved to be an important player under Massimilliano Allegri, but his boyhood side Real Madrid exercised their buy-back clause to bring him back to the Bernabeu.

The Spaniard has a ‘great understanding’ with chairman Andrea Agnelli, Juanma Lopez says
He has since played for Chelsea before joining Real’s bitter rivals Atletico, who agreed to let him join the Serie A side after agreeing a deal to sign Luis Suarez from Barcelona.
Morata’s agent Juanma Lopez says his client has always felt wanted by the club and hailed his ‘great understanding’ with chairman Andrea Agnelli, adding that he believes the club will make the deal permanent next year.
‘Both Andrea Agnelli and Fabio Paratici were crucial,’ he told the Gianluca Di Marzio website. ‘They called him and spoke several times.

‘There was an understanding between them before and there is a great understanding today, they have a good relationship. So I have to say that the Juve director has had a great impact on Alvaro’s professional career because already in 2014 he pushed a lot to bring him to Juve.’
‘Other Italian teams that have tried to take Morata? Milan and Naples. At the end of the season they will buy him from Atletico, I’m sure.’
Morata has always chipped in with goals wherever he has played and netted 22 times from 61 games during his time at the Wanda Metropolitano, but Lopez claimed the Spanish side were unwilling to let him leave unless Juventus offered a fee.

But as soon as the club were able to sign Suarez the deal went ahead, and Lopez insists there is no bad blood about the move.
‘Morata has always been Juventus’ first choice,’ he added. The problem, at least at the beginning, was that Atlético only wanted a permanent sale, they wouldn’t let it go any other way. Towards the end, however, there were a series of circumstances for which Suárez said yes to [Atletico] and Alvaro received the green light to go on loan.
‘I don’t regret how it went, I think Atletico found Luis Suarez, one of the best forwards in the area. Everyone is happy.’
