On Friday, temperatures will climb back to a high of 85º, with warm and humid conditions under mostly cloudy skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist, with an overnight low of 67º and southeast winds at 5-15 mph.
Looking ahead, forecasts indicate that the hottest weather of the season could arrive next week, following the passage of this storm system.
