‘That is outrageous!’ Today host Karl Stefanovic shuts down interview with Married At First Sight sexologist Alessandra Rampolla after she calls Australian men LAZY
Married At First Sight‘s new relationship expert Alessandra Rampolla has delivered a harsh message to the men of Australia.
During an interview on the Today show on Monday, the Puerto Rican sexologist, 46, said she finds Aussie blokes to be ‘a little lazy’ when it comes to the art of seduction.
‘Australian men, I think, are charming but a little lazy. I will say, a little lazy, that’s what I’ve been able to pick up these past almost six months that I’ve been in this beautiful country,’ Alessandra told host Karl Stefanovic.

Karl, 46, was gobsmacked by her brazen feedback.
‘I am shocked!’ he said, as Alessandra replied: ‘I know, you would be.’
‘Let me just tell you, they’re not quite seductive. I think that is missing,’ she added, before turning to the camera and declaring, ‘I’m going to put it out there: Australian men, I want you to get your game on!’

In a fit of mock rage, Karl interjected: ‘Woah, woah, woah! Can we please stop this interview? This is outrageous. I can’t believe you’re saying that about Australian men.’
Alessandra appeared rather confused for a moment, before realising Karl’s outburst was all in jest.
‘It’s just an observation,’ she chuckled, then insisted Australian men are ‘very attractive’ even though they aren’t ‘so seductive’.

Love guru: Alessandra will question the Married At First Sight participants about their sex lives during group therapy sessions in an attempt to liven up the intimacy between couples
‘[Maybe] that’s why they are a little lazy, because they’re so attractive they feel like they don’t need to make the effort!’ she laughed.
Alessandra will join Mel Schilling and John Aiken on Married At First Sight’s panel of experts this year.
As part of her role, Alessandra will question participants about their sex lives during group therapy sessions in an attempt to liven up the intimacy between couples.
