Kate Middleton continued her tour of the US in a chic Roland Mouret burgundy pants suit on Thursday morning, which she accessorized with a stunning $4,664 Chanel maroon and gold enamel purse.

The Princess of Wales, 40, was spotted arriving at climate innovation company Greentown Labs in Somerville, Massachusetts, alongside her husband, Prince William, also 40, and she dressed exceptionally stylish for the visit.

The mother-of-three donned a pair of high-waisted maroon trousers and a matching blazer – which is currently sold out in the color Kate wore – made by Roland Mouret, as well as a pink tie-neck blouse underneath. Prince William matched his wife in a burgundy sweater, which he wore under a dark grey suit.

She completed the look with a pair of $675 Gianvito Rossi suede pumps and an extravagant Chanel handbag, which is no longer available but originally sold for just over $4,500 in 2015, according to LoveThatBag.ca.

Kate was previously seen toting the purse during a visit to Paris in 2017, and again during a church service in London in 2018, as well as a trip to the Natural History Museum in 2019.

The heels – which are just over two inches high – seem to be a go-to pair for Kate, as she was pictured wearing them multiple times over the years.

Kate and William put on a brave face as they began the first full day of their whirlwind US tour – just a few hours after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a very ill-timed trailer for their upcoming explosive Netflix documentary amid a furious race row at Buckingham Palace back home.

Henry Dynov-Teixeira, eight, was so impressed by the changing of the guard when he visited Buckingham Palace earlier this year that he asked his family for a costume – and was proudly wearing it, complete with bearskin, at the Royal’s visit

They will also meet with the CEO of Greentown Labs and the President of the Northeast Clean Energy Council to ‘learn about the history’ of the company and ‘how it is contributing to global efforts to address the climate crisis’

He told DailyMail.com afterwards, ‘It was crazy meeting the Prince and Princess. It was crazy. I wasn’t actually that nervous now that I think about it when I actually did it.’ 

During this morning’s event, the Prince and Princess will ‘learn about climate innovations which are being incubated in Boston.’

This week Prince William will also visit the John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. He and his wife will learn about the work that local organizations are doing to mitigate the risk of rising sea levels in Boston.

There are also plans for the royal couple to meet President Joe Biden on Friday, who will be in Boston on a separate trip. In addition, they will attend the Earthshot Prize awards on Friday.
