Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has launched a new Intel-powered gaming console that comes with an integrated “chicken room” to keep your meals warm.
KFC said in a statement on Tuesday that KFConsole is part of a partnership with device manufacturer Cooler Master.
“The bucket-shaped machine features the world’s first compact chicken room, which is equipped to keep its contents hot and ready for consumption during intense gaming sessions,” added Kentucky.
The device will preserve the temperature of the chickens through a specially designed cooling system that keeps the temperature of the controller cool while using the heat generated by its components to heat the chicken room.
Other specifications also include the Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute and two Seagate Barracuda drives with a capacity of 1 TB, according to Cooler Master.
The console can run virtual reality games and provides smooth gameplay thanks to a frame rate of 240 frames per second in 4K, according to details published by “Cooler Master”.
“This device is capable of running games of the highest specification, in addition to keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy while you experience gaming … What don’t you like?” Said Mark Schiffers, head of PR and social media at KFC UK and Ireland.
“If Sony or Microsoft want any advice on how to design a room next time, we welcome them to contact us,” added Shavers.
Intel said it had nothing to add to the details issued by Cooler Master or KFC and had not commented on the price or issue date when contacted by CNN. KFC did not respond to CNN’s request for comment.
