Meshaal said in a speech he delivered online at the opening of the International Islamic Forum for Parliamentarians in Istanbul yesterday, Friday, that “the resistance is fine. Yes, there are martyrs among the fighters, leaders, and administrations, and some military leaders, but not from the first row. Despite all that, the resistance is fine, its weapons, its tunnels, and its leadership.” “Salima.”
He continued, “We have prepared ourselves for a long war, but we do not hope that it will last. The humanitarian situation hurts us, but it does not deter us from the march. Leaders are also martyred, and they have relatives among the martyrs.”
Meshaal stressed, “The enemy was unable to achieve any goal. It is true that some Gazans were displaced from the north (to the south of the Gaza Strip), but the majority remain.”
Regarding the future possibilities, the Hamas leader said that all plans “will be trampled on by the heroes of the resistance, and the government in Gaza after the war will not be according to their whims.”
The Israeli government says that it will not allow Hamas to administer the Gaza Strip after the war, and that the army will maintain full security control, while Washington warned it against reoccupying the Strip and called for unifying the administration of Gaza with the West Bank.

Armistice agreement
Regarding the truce that entered into force yesterday, Friday, Meshaal said, “From the first day, we expressed our readiness to release civilians into the hands of the resistance, the factions, and the people, given that they were captured due to the collapse of the Israeli forces, and we released some of them in the beginning to confront the Israeli narrative.”
He stressed that the temporary humanitarian truce came to achieve three results: the release of prisoners, the cessation of aggression, and the entry of aid.
The truce reached by Hamas and Israel through Qatari mediation is scheduled to last 4 days, subject to extension.
The agreement includes the release of 50 Israeli women and children in Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian women and children from Israeli prisons, and the entry of hundreds of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid and fuel to all areas of the Strip.
Within about 50 days, the devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip left 14,854 martyrs, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, while the number of injured exceeded 36,000, and the number of missing people is estimated at about 7,000, according to the government media office in the Strip.
